Technical and legal requirements for imported Food.*
- Certificate of free sales: document issued by the health authority of the manufacturer’s country, legalized in the consulate.
- Power of Attorney (POA) of distribution: document issued by the manufacturer where authorizes the company for importation and distribution. Legalized or Notarized
- List of ingredients in a decreasing order: in a paper sheet with the company logo, legalization is not required. In this document every ingredient that reacts within the formula should be well described, with the common international name.
- Certificate of analysis: physicochemical and microbiologic analysis of a batch or lot, with the specifications and results. It should be an original document –no legalization required.
- Manufacturing process diagram: a brief diagram with the different steps of manufacturing process of the product, it should include the details of the packaging process, sterilization and temperatures at which it is performed (if applicable).
- Labels or packaging: 3 samples with the text of the labels
- Professional Representation Power of Attorney (POA): notarized Power of attorney of the representative domestic importer.
- Samples: for analysis of the health authorities : depending on the type of product it must be presented in commercial presentation with most recently manufactured presentation and in optimal condition
